Last night took place theID@Xbox Showcase in partnership with IGNa presentation dedicated to independent productions that will be released or are already present within the ecosystem Xbox. There was something for everyone and as expected we had news from Dungeons of Hinterberg. Since we last talked about it last October following a Xbox Partner Previewthis Action RPG taking place in the Austrian Alps was treated to several very interesting insights which you can find further down in this article and, during the’IGN Fan Fest 2024, its release has been specified for this summer. Well, its exact launch date is now known.
Dungeons of Hinterberg will therefore be launched on Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam) on July 18, 2024, as well as in the Game Pass in day one. Furthermore, you can register on the platform of Valve to test the first two days in-game between May 9 and 16, a session of playtest which should help developers Microbird to fine-tune their baby before the launch.
Among the videos previously broadcast, a good quarter of an hour gameplay serves as an overview of the glacier Kolmsteinduring which the co-founders of MicrobirdRegina Reisinger and Philipp Seifried notably highlighted the use of certain skills, including one hoverboard also useful for moving around, solving puzzles or even fighting. Kolmstein is part of what the developers call “overworlds”, four in number with Doberkogel, Hinterwald And Brünnelsumpf. The latter, which is a swamp, was also entitled to no less than twenty minutes of playwith comments from producer Clio Montrey and senior producer from Curve Games Tim Wileman.
