Duos arrive in Battlegrounds with season 7 from April 16

It’s time for Season 6 to bow out on the battlefields of Hearthstone. From April 16, Battlegrounds is getting a new game mode, new heroes and minions for season 7. And if you like spells, they definitely remain in Bob’s shop. But the big news is obviously the Battleground Duos announced at BlizzCon.

Team work

Alone, or with a friend, cooperate in duo battlegrounds. Since its announcement at BlizzCon, the game mode has been balanced and polished before finally releasing. However, its basic mechanics have not changed. Each team shares the same amount of life points. Players can send a card to their partner in exchange for a gold coin. Their troops will also follow one another in the middle of battle.

To accompany this, new heroes are moving into Bob’s tavern, introducing synergy mechanics. Minions will also appear, taking advantage of effects that will help both allies. In total, there are 4 heroes and heroines, 16 servants and 3 spells which will be exclusive to Duo mode. Enough to push players to find new ways of playing to gain an advantage.

Time for big cleaning

Obviously, with the launch of a new season, we take the opportunity to give the tavern a makeover. With Season 7 of Battlegrounds, an army of new minions arrives. Whether solo or in pairs, 50 new servants appear. A dozen are back, and two new spells are being added to Bob’s shop. A big balancing act is planned. But the Beasts, Dragons and Mechs families will be entitled to a more in-depth touch-up.

A new route to discover

We couldn’t miss it. With Battlegrounds Season 7 launching on April 16, the rewards track will be getting a makeover with new items. The theme of this season is fairy tales. But the duo mode will be entitled to a few small references. Unclaimed rewards from the previous journey will be sent automatically at the next login.
