Dying Light 2 conquers the next top list on Steam

After Techland’s zombie game was already at the top of the sales charts on Steam, the logical consequence follows. Dying Light 2 also dominates when it comes to the number of players and can even enter the list of the most played games at the top.

Dying Light 2 gets the Steam triple

After Dying Light 2 was able to play at the top of the wish lists and sales charts, the third success is now coming. The zombie game makes it into the top 25 most played games on Steam. With 274,983 concurrent active players managed to get into the top list right on the first weekend after the release. Dying Light 2 is 23rd ahead of Halo Infinite and behind Skyrim. However, Dying Light 2 is a long way from the record holder PUBG and its more than 3.2 million players. At least in terms of the current number of players, the game by the Polish developer Techland is in 5th place.

Dying Light 2: Zombie game storms the Steam charts

First conquered Dying Light 2 the Steam wish list charts, now the zombie game can also make its way into the worldwide bestsellers and there take first place straight away (Source: Steam). Even top games like Monster Hunter Rise, God of War or the Elden Ring, which will be released next month, cannot currently compete with Dying Light 2.

And how is it in this country? The game has also made it into the charts in Germany, but can’t begin to position itself as high as internationally. only for the ninth place it is currently enough. One explanation for the German players’ unwillingness to buy might be, among other things, that Dying Light 2 appears cut in this country. What fans have to do without – and how you can get an uncut version – we explain to you in the video:

Switch version of Dying Light 2 is coming later

While the PC, PlayStation and Xbox versions of Dying Light 2 are set to release on February 4th, 2022, Switch players will apparently have to wait a little longer. According to an official press release, the development team has decided to postpone the release of the cloud version for the Nintendo handheld. There is no new deadline yet, but the development team assumes that the game will be released within 6 months for which Switch will submit later.

The action role-playing game was originally supposed to be released in 2020, but was then postponed to December 2021 and then to February 4, 2022.
