The American manufacturer Dyson presented prototypes of robots at a trade fair for automation in Philadelphia that had previously been developed in strict secrecy. It’s obviously not about flexing your muscles as a high-tech developer – but about developing everyday solutions for industry and domestic use.
While smart home technology is already being used more and more in German households, the prototypes launched by Dyson aim to allow machines to carry out more complex processes autonomously. The range of services transcends that of the long-established vacuum and floor mopping robots.
