Dyson: stop false good deals on stick vacuum cleaners

Since the launch of the sales on January 11, offers on Dyson stick vacuum cleaners have multiplied. Many specialized and generalist media work to relay them without really targeting the best choice for the consumer. Currently, the V12 Slim Absolute is offered at €549 at Ubaldi (best price found to date) while the V15 Detect Absolute is displayed at €599 at most merchants. Admittedly, the discount is interesting if we ignore the other current offers at Dyson. Because if the V12 Slim has many assets to seduce (a wasp waist, good suction performance and excellent filtration), its autonomy is still a little too tight. As for the V15 Detect Absolute, awarded 5 stars after its lab test, it is sold 100 € more expensive than the V15 Detect, without the Fluffy brush equipped with the laser. Given the relative interest of this famous laser installed on the suction head, the V15 Detect stands out as an excellent quality/price ratio.

We can’t fault it for suction, filtration or maintenance, the holy trinity of the stick vacuum. If we can regret the absence of the brush equipped with the laser, in absolute terms, the single classic brush supplied with this version is more than enough, and the V15 Detect remains an excellent stick vacuum cleaner. On the other hand, the faults are the same, and the V15 Detect proves to be rather heavy and not very durable in boost mode.

On the Dyson site, the V11 Absolute Extra is offered at €499. After occupying first place in our comparison for a very long time, it was dislodged by the V15 Detect which, not content with only carrying a particle counter to automatically adjust the suction power, also benefits from better autonomy. .

However, the Dyson V11 Absolute Extra remains an interesting alternative to the V15 Detect insofar as this version comes with an armada of accessories: a removable battery, a high-torque brush (which automatically adjusts the power of the suction depending on the surface vacuumed), the Fluffy brush and a whole bunch of small suction tips. The Dyson V11 Extra is also offered at €499 but does not include either a high-torque brush or a Fluffy brush: for the same price, it is better to move on.

Finally, there is the V11 Total Clean which loses the high-torque brush but retains the Fluffy brush. This stick vacuum cleaner is therefore not able to automatically adjust the suction power but is intended for hard floors such as parquet.

Proposed at 458 € at Ubaldi, it is sold 41 € cheaper than the V11 Absolute Extra: the cost of the high-torque brush in short.

Omni-glide: the lowest price found

Launched in 2021 at €379, the Dyson Omni-glide has rarely been the subject of promotional offers. It is currently found at 289 € at Ubaldi, it is the best offer observed for this model which, let us specify, is more suitable for a small surface given the limited autonomy of the device.
