E.ON: control of fast charging stations with alpitronic

(CercleFinance.com) – To develop ultra-fast charging in Europe, E.ON announces that it has ordered 4,500 additional terminals from the Italian manufacturer alpitronic, terminals which must be used in customer projects and for public charging by 2025.

The latest generation of terminals with powers between 50 and 400 kW will be used to cover a wide range of needs, from charging at the workplace or while shopping, to ultra-fast charging on the motorway.

The partners are also pooling their expertise for the implementation of charging solutions for heavy goods vehicles and future megawatt charging. The first pilot sites must be established at various European sites by 2024.
