The transport company Wenzl from Gols is 60 years old this year. Yesterday the family company presented the first electric truck.

The company was founded by Harald Wenzl’s parents. Under his leadership it grew constantly, and his children Kerstin and Johannes have also been with the business for five years. The Wenzls employ 150 people and have 120 trucks. The latest “child” is a Volvo type FM – with an output of 666 hp. Six battery packs are installed in the towing vehicle, which deliver up to 540 kWh and thus ensure sufficient range for a variety of regional transport tasks. From Burgenland to Vienna and back.
