Battlefield 2042 only saw the light of day in November and EA is already giving you a free trial round in their latest shooter sled. We’ll tell you now how long the free phase will last on Steam and where the publisher is still generous.

With the Release on November 19th EA’s latest shooter prank didn’t exactly land a clean landing. Battlefield 2042 quickly graced the top sellers of the Steam gaming platform and stayed there for a while, but the community’s criticism was not exactly positive.
Missing features and quite a few bugs bothered the gambler. EA has now responded with a few updates, but the Steam rating is still not exactly positive. Just 34 percent of all players rate Battlefield 2042 positively.
As a small reparation, EA is now on Free weekend for the PC gamers and lets you play the multiplayer game until 20th of December (probably 7 p.m.) gamble for free. So if you want to convince yourself of the current condition and quality of the shooter with a clear conscience, now has the perfect opportunity to do so.
