EA Play Live: no 2022 edition planned, Electronic Arts explains

It’s been some timeElectronic Arts left the boards of theE3 to organize its own event, theEA Playthen baptized EA Play Live. It sometimes took place at the time of the Los Angeles show, not even hesitating to invite journalists to another place a few days before, but the last edition was held in July, after the effervescence of theElectronic Entertainment Expo has fallen.

What about 2022? Well, we’ll have to do without theEA Play Livebecause Electronic Arts entrusted to IGN that he would not hold a summer conference this year. He states that his schedule does not lend itself to announcements on a multitude of projects at the same time, but should therefore make scattered revelations during 2022.

We love EA Play Live because it’s our way of connecting with our players and sharing what’s new with all of you. However, this year things don’t line up to show you everything on one date. We have some exciting things happening in our world-class studios and this year we’ll be revealing a lot more about those projects when the time is right for each one. We look forward to spending time with you throughout the year!

It must be said that after a fairly rich year 2021, the future seems more vague for Electronic Arts. There will certainly be dead space, FIFA 23, NHL 23, Madden NFL 23 and F1 2022 to occupy the calendar, but beyond that, Dragon Age Next, Mass Effect Nextthe next Need for Speed, skateboarding and EA Sports PGA Touror the Battlefield on mobiles are slow to materialize. Why fear repeated delays? Waiting for, Battlefield 2042 is it available from €17.85 on Amazon.co.uk.
