EA Sports WRC: a star of The Grand Tour and a Frenchman in a new video

Electronic Arts And Codemasters continue to promoteEA Sports WRCtheir first licensed racing game from the World Rally Championship. A title expected on the latest generation platforms only and which intends to impress us, but not only that.

To prove to us thatEA Sports WRC is playable by both experts and beginnersthe studios are releasing a new video this week which features two very real pilots, including Abbie Eaton, who stood out in competitions GTin W Series (there Formula 1 for women) and in The Grand Tourthe emission ofAmazon Prime Video with the former English team of Top Gear. Problem, Abbie is not a rally driver, so she is accompanied here by the Frenchman Adrien Fourmaux, French champion of Junior Rallies in 2018and who is responsible for teaching him the basics of WRC. The race in GTit’s clearly not like rallying, Abbie Eaton comments:

You have to work a lot harder in this car than in a GT car. The game teaches you a lot of things. With the rhythm notes, the preparation really made the difference.

Adrien Fourmaux adds:

When I started rallying, I was 22 years old. I used to play video games and it taught me a lot. The result is really similar, and it’s even better today with new technologies. It’s quite impressive.

EA Sports WRC will offer a whole bunch of content, as a reminder, and its release date is set for November 3, 2023 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. You can pre-order it for €49.99 on Amazon, Cdiscount Or there Fnac.
