It’s been almost a month since young Inès Piedanna disappeared. Aged 15 at the time of the events, and now 16, she voluntarily left Dunkirk high school on March 18 at 3:30 p.m.. In constant anguish since that day, her mother Angélique Bryckaert explains that she left with a young 18-year-old from Bordeaux. She had met him a few months earlier through social networks.

But for her mother, she is not doing well: “I feel deep inside that she is not okay, that she is not safe”, reports Actu.fr. The Hoymille gendarmes in Hauts-de-France are also worried. The latter launched a call for witnesses on March 21 to “disturbing disappearance”. They described Inès, who measures 1.63m, and her outfit on the day of her disappearance: a long beige coat, jeans and white ankle boots.

A shy and impressionable young girl according to her mother

The investigation is still ongoing and volunteers from the ARPD (Assistance and Search for Missing Persons) are helping the gendarmes actively search for the teenager. They are particularly interested in the young man she would have joined, Anthony. Inès’ mother says that her daughter’s behavior had changed since their discussions in October, something she had kept secret. For her, her daughter is “very shy and easily influenced”. Usually studious and ambitious (she wants to become a notary), Inès has “dark” since she knew the young man: “He poisoned her mind”, believes Angélique Bryckaert.

The tracing of Anthony’s phone could help locate him. Inès’ mother says they originally thought the two young people were in Belgium.because the telephone did not limit at all”. But that would surely be “because it puts it in airplane mode”. His daughter’s mobile unfortunately remained at school.
