Lidl offers a laser rangefinder for little money in its online shop. It makes measuring processes much easier.

Update from March 4th: The laser rangefinder is now sold out. However, Lidl offers another model in its online shop for just under 5 euros more. If you are still interested, take a look at the PLEM 20 A4 laser rangefinder. However, it is a tool with a slightly smaller range of functions.

Lidl also offers, among other things, an extensive selection of tools in its branches and online shop. The discounter sells numerous devices under its own Parkside brand and also its own cordless tool system. While not all tools are recommended, the inexpensive laser rangefinder for under 20 euros is definitely the case. With it you save yourself the hassle of measuring with a ruler or tape measure. With a measuring accuracy of plus/minus 1.5 millimeters, the device is sufficient for private use.
The measuring device offers various functions: The Pythagoras function is used to measure length indirectly, and measurement data can also be added or subtracted if desired. Up to 100 measurements can also be saved.
There are three reference points to choose from for the measurement. You can measure from the front or rear edge or from the integrated stop pin. Continuous measurement with min/max display is also possible.
All data is output via the display, which also has a backlight. The measuring range is between 5 centimeters and 50 meters, the unit of measurement can be switched between metric and imperial.
The laser rangefinder can save you time and stress in many situations in everyday life. Whether you want to take the measurements for new windows or check how big the new wardrobe can be so that it fits in the niche.

Lidl normally charges just under 35 euros for the laser rangefinder, but the measuring tool is currently available at discounters for just 18 euros. A good deal.
