LONDON, June 21 (Reuters) – British low-cost airline easyJet said on Tuesday it will acquire 56 A320neos from Airbus and convert an order for 18 A320neos into an order for 18 A321neos.
The total purchase price for this order – which significantly increases the scope of the 2013 agreement between easyJet and Airbus – is theoretically expected to be around 6.5 billion dollars (around 6.2 billion euros) but easyJet said it would be “significantly lower” due to certain fare concessions.
