Eating this food every day would significantly reduce wrinkles, according to a dermatologist

In a video posted on her social networks, a dermatologist extols the virtues of a certain food on the skin. It would limit the appearance of wrinkles.

The quality of what we eat, the quantity of water we drink or even the way we sleep are all factors that impact the quality of our skin and, in the long term, the appearance of wrinkles. Certain foods, rich in lipids, vitamins and antioxidants, have direct benefits on the epidermis and would be very good anti-aging allies. This is particularly the case for almonds which, according to a study published by the University of California in 2021, would make it possible to delay the appearance of wrinkles. In any case, this is what Harvard-graduate dermatologist @dermatologysurgeon relays on her social networks: “A 24-week clinical trial showed that women who consumed approximately 400 calories of almonds per day (about three handfuls) had a significant reduction in wrinkles, facial lines and hyperpigmentation” shares the scientist in a video viewed by more than 100,000 people.

Questioned by the magazine New York Postthe dermatologist qualifies her remarks by explaining that: “Eating almonds may modestly, but not drastically, improve wrinkles, but more research is needed”.
