Ecological bonus: the list of electric cars eligible for 2024 finally available

In 2024, the ecological bonus will now be conditional on an environmental score. It aims to remove from the system the models whose production is the most polluting, such as those from China. However, we did not yet know which electric cars would be able to retain this aid in 2024. The situation is now a little clearer, thanks to the publication of a first list of eligible models.

Here are the cars of which at least one “type variant version” (TVV) has reached the environmental score necessary to obtain the ecological bonus in 2024:

Some important models with missing subscribers

The majority of electric cars produced in Europe are therefore mentioned. However, a few are missing, such as the highly anticipated Citroën ë-C3, but the affordable electric city car could join the list soon.

As for those absent – models produced outside Europe like the Model 3 which is assembled in China or Hyundai and Kia vehicles from South Korea – everything is not yet decided. Manufacturers can prepare a second file with more precise values, which they can provide to replace the reference values used by the State. However, we already know that the Dacia Spring and MG Motor’s electric cars will have to say goodbye to the bonus in 2024, their production having been deemed too polluting.
