2021 marks a decisive change in the development of Ecoslops with a turnover of €12.4 million, which has more than doubled compared to that of 2020.
Sines unit in Portugal
After a year 2020 very strongly affected by the sharp drop in oil prices and the slowdown in industrial activity in Europe (linked to the Covid crisis), the recovery of our activity was gradual over the first half after the first two months of the year 2021 penalized by waiting for the renewal and extension of the operating permit (finally obtained on February 25, 2021). Since then, the Sines unit has made a rapid return to normal with an annual production volume of 21,960 tonnes (including historical production of 13,889 tonnes in the second half). The 2021 financial year thus ended with Refined Products sales of €6.3 million, up 67% compared to 2020, which breaks down into a +1% volume effect and a +66% prices (of which +58% linked to the rise in oil prices and +8% linked to the improvement in the product mix).
