eFootball 2023: the new version of free-to-play available, trailer and update on what’s new

eFootball 2022 has not really convinced yet, but Konami wants to give him a chance in the long term. This is why he just passed the second at the end of last week by putting the content of the free-to-play updated to become eFootball 2023, with updated squads and stadiums. As expected, the publisher takes the opportunity to add content related to the Liga BBVA MXI’Inter-Milan and theAC Milancards Epic and Featuredof the Club Packs and new teams for Test Matches including L’AS Romathe SSC Napoli, Club America and Santos F.

eFootball returns for its second year, with updated player data and transfers from the summer period. Thanks to the free-to-play model, Konami offers fans the latest in football simulation, including up-to-date teams and stadiums for the majority of partner and licensed clubs in its roster.

New partnerships

eFootball 2023 marks the return of two former partner clubs, AC Milan and FC Internazionale Milano, reigning Premier League and Italian Cup champions respectively. As part of these partnerships, the complete teams, their shirts and the San Siro – the iconic stadium that the two clubs share – will be integrated into the game.

Through an exclusive licensing agreement, the Liga BBVA MX will be implemented in eFootball 2023 and will include all 18 Mexican clubs, stunning reproduction of their players as well as the addition of the historic Estadio Azteca.

In addition to the clubs, England international right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold and Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandes join the Ambassadors and thus enrich an already high-level roster, alongside Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr. and Takefusa Kubo.

New card types

The new version of eFootball also adds two new map types for “Dream Team”, the game’s flagship mode: “Epic” and “Featured”.

  • Epic – Epic cards will focus on players throughout football history, celebrating seasons that have defined their careers.
  • Featured – Featured cards will focus on the current season, selecting players who are exciting the world of football in the 2022/23 season.

New Club Packs

With the addition of Italian giants AC Milan and FC Internazionale Milano, as well as Mexican team ‘Club América’, eFootball 2023 offers a new Club Pack for each of these clubs, allowing users to add a full squad to their Dream Team roster at once.

So even first-timers can have a solid foundation to embark on their Dream Team adventure, thanks to these packs that provide 11 players from some of the best football clubs in the world.

The list of clubs in the “Trial Match” mode is greatly extended

Previously in the eFootball series, users could choose from nine partner clubs when playing the offline “Trial Match” mode. With eFootball 2023, this list now extends to 26 clubs with the addition of AC Milan, FC Internazionale Milano, AS Roma, SSC Napoli, Club America and Santos FC.
