The daily life of Eglantine Eméyé, 48, has nothing of an enchanted life. The former miss weather forecaster has to deal every day with the autism of a young polyhandicapped child named Samy, a source of difficulty that she never eludes, however. This path strewn with pitfalls inspired him last year to write a book entitled Your words in my head, a dialogue between her child and an Iraqi refugee. To the magazine Here is, the television host recently preferred to talk about her eldest son who provides her with precious help in her daily lifeat least according to him.

Eglantine Eméyé testifies: “ Looking back, what I experienced is unimaginable. I spent nights crying, lying on top of him to contain him and prevent him from hurting himself. »

Eglantine Eméyé knows that she was very lucky unlike other mothers in her situation. Some are alone – in most cases, the fathers quickly leave the ship – in 28 m2 with three children, one of whom is autistic, and they may love him viscerally, it is unlivable for all. We’ve made a lot of progress on autism detection, but that’s not all. Samy, 16, now lives in a specialized establishment. Her mother, she found love again thanks to a certain Richard, a documentary filmmaker, himself the father of a daughter. It almost looks like a happy ending… Just like in the movies!
