The war in Ukraine has triggered a wave of solidarity and sympathy around the world. More and more celebrities are showing their sympathy towards those affected. The Ehrlich Brothers are also affected by the situation. That’s why they want to collect donations at a benefit show.
It will be a magical show of a very special kind: The Ehrlich Brothers will be giving a special performance on March 20, 2022 in Berlin to collect donations for people in need from Ukraine. All proceeds go to the donation account of the “RTL We help children” foundation. Together with large aid organizations, it provides emergency aid for those affected.
Ehrlich Brothers: “We are shocked by this war”
This big performance is particularly important to the brothers Andreas, 44, and Chris Ehrlich, 40. The two magicians are “shocked by this war, which means so much suffering and hardship for Ukrainian children and their families,” the Ehrlich Brothers said in a press release. Therefore, they hope to raise as many funds as possible with their additional show.
They have thought of something very special: In 60 minutes they will not only show the highlights from their current tour “DREAM & FLY”, but will even bring new illusions to the stage for this special occasion. Chris Ehrlich summarizes the performance in a video: “It’s about peace, about love and about the children.”
Brothers want to enchant Ukrainian children
Because not only the donor community will be sitting in the audience, but also Ukrainian children and their families. Andreas Ehrlich hopes that the refugees “can forget for a moment what they have experienced in the past few days and weeks”. They should be able to “immerse themselves in another, dreamy world.” Because with this magic you don’t even have to understand the language.
The benefit show will take place on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at 10 a.m. in the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin. Admission costs 10 euros or more if you wish.
