Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, Heir of Suikoden, presents a trailer

The fans of Suikoden have gone through a terrible period of scarcity in recent years, but next year their patience will finally be rewarded. Not only does Konami intend to bring back the first two Suikoden with HD remasters in 2023, but we can also discover what is worth Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, which presents itself as the spiritual heir to the JRPG saga. The title was present at the Tokyo Game Show to give some news.

The succession of Suikoden is assured

So it’s a new trailer that was shared by 505 Games, which we saw briefly during the Tokyo Game Show Xbox conference. This new video focuses on the fights and the presentation of the team behind this ambitious project, starting with Yoshitaka Murayama and Junko Kawanowho respectively worked on Suikoden I & II then III and IV.

We are then promised to rediscover the spirit of the Suikoden with more than 100 characters to recruit and tactical combat, all served by a very nice artistic direction in 2.5D. We can only hope that the game marks us as much as the license from which it is inspired.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will be released in 2023 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Switch.
