Frank Plasberg will no longer moderate “Hart aber fair”.
Almost 22 years after his first “Hart aber fair” show, Frank Plasberg, 65, will no longer work for the popular ARD political talk show. At the end of November this year he will be in front of the camera for the last time as a moderator. This was announced by West German Broadcasting (WDR) in a press release on August 17th. From January 2022, actor and presenter Louis Klamroth, 32, will be following in Plasberg’s big footsteps.

“Goodbye Germany” star Steff Jerkel: “Our life is for sale, with everything”
The “Goodbye Germany” emigrant Steff Jerkel, 52, wants to leave his entire life behind. The restaurateur, who has lived and worked in Mallorca for 13 years, has had enough of his existence. Jerkel not only wants to sell his “Tiki Beach” restaurant, but also the beach house where he lives with his partner Peggy Jerofke, 46, and their daughter Josephine, 4. A plan that his partner Peggy does not share with him.
The 46-year-old is satisfied with her existence on Mallorca. New house and a new restaurant? Not if she has her way. “If we don’t want to lose each other completely as a family, we might have to make a compromise or two,” Peggy said. But Steff’s current life is no longer enough. He makes it clear: “I won’t be happy here anymore.” Instead, he wants to buy a four-million-euro yacht together with an anonymous partner. He wants to live on it in the future and rent the XXL ship to guests at the same time.
Apparently, Steff Jerkel already has offers for the house in Mallorca. He has also found a possible replacement for the restaurant. Everything should be up and running by the end of the year. Will his relationship with Peggy survive the new adventure?
“The Biggest Loser” contestant struggles with weight gain
Patrick has been overweight all his life. In 2015 he wanted to change that, registered with “The Biggest Loser” and declared his pounds to fight – with success! Patrick started with a starting weight of 150 kilograms and lost 53.8 kilograms. With this success he even made it to the final. But after the weight loss show, the yo-yo effect set in.
Back in everyday life, the store manager could no longer follow the weight loss rules he had learned. “During ‘The Biggest Loser’ I had no obligations. That made it easy to just do sports. But it’s impossible to integrate such a workload into everyday life,” the 30-year-old reveals to “BILD”. Eating habits have also changed. “People were shopping for us, so I didn’t understand how good nutrition works,” he explains. Just two years after the finale, he weighs 177 kilos, which is 27 kilos more than when “The Biggest Loser” began. In 2020 he almost reached the 200 kilo mark. With a nutritionist, he tries to stop the process – and it succeeds. With their help, he has now managed to weigh 133 kilos and has come a big step closer to his goal of 90 kilos. On Instagram he shares his weight loss success with a before and after photo: “I’m not there yet! But the way there is much more important than the goal itself.”
