Elden Ring: clues about the arrival of a DLC and ray-tracing

Apart Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, most recent games from FromSoftware were entitled to one or more additional content, adding new areas to explore, and fans are always looking forward to them. It must be said that the quality is there, both visually and lore.

Elden Ring will no doubt be no exception to the rule. The title of FromSoftware was released at the beginning of the year and plunges players into an open world which obviously leaves room for an extension adding an area or a level. And precisely, the update 1.07 published a few hours ago suggests the extent of this DLCs. Zulliea fan of souls who loves rummaging through game files, has indeed discovered zone identifiers “m20” and “m45”. The “m20” suggests an entire dungeon, in line with the Sailing Castlefrom Volcano Manor orRaya Lucaria Academy. The “m45” is more enigmatic, it does not correspond to any other similar zone and it could be a vast place which would house the dungeon of the DLCs.

For his part, the data miner Lance Mcdonald unearthed in the code ofElden Ring mentions of ray tracingwhich could finally make an appearance in the game. A data present before the arrival of patch 1.07, but this update still did not introduce the ray tracing, FromSoftware is probably keeping it on hand to offer it at the same time as the extension.

Neither the developers nor the publisher bandai namco have commented on this information, we will have to wait to find out if all this is correct. In the meantime, you can find Elden Ring at €53.99 on Gamesplanet.
