Suddenly, the numbers followed, and it was a total hit. But right now, a title is exploding, and it far exceeds a certain score of the Japanese studio’s game. Pocketpair is therefore delighted with this news, and at the same time, it is understandable. It’s not every day that we manage to surpass productions like Dota 2 or Counter-Strike 2 in this area.
But where it really becomes astonishing is when we compare this figure to that of Cyberpunk 2077. For good reason, it was he who held the record for the highest number of players connected simultaneously on Steam, for a game paid (if we look at the ranking today, since in 2018, it was PUBG which sat at the top with more than 3 million players, before going free-to-play in 2022). It stood at 1,183,921. So Palworld is way above, and now they have the crown. Such an observation raises a logical question: who will be the next to beat their score? We can’t wait to find out.

Additionally, the studio has a particular history with generative AI tools. AI: Art Imposter, one of the firm’s old games, relied on an AI image generator as a central element. Is this the case here?
