Elden Ring: ray-tracing finally arrives with update 1.09!

Often considered the GOTY of the year 2022, Elden Ring still has a bright future ahead of it. The paid extension The Shadow of the World Tree has indeed been confirmed, a sign that new adventures await fans of FromSoftware. And before that is a 1.09 update arriving today.

In addition to adjustments for the pvpbalancing for the gameplay and bug fixes, details of which you can find in English here, the patch brings the long awaited ray tracing ! Yes, it is now possible to display better light reflection in real time via an option to activate in the menus on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. On both consoles and personal computers, this feature may cause a drop in resolution or frame rateand you can also find the minimum and recommended configurations to activate it on PC.
