True to the universe of FromSoftware’s latest game, the OST of Elden Ring is more than epic and grandiose. But while it’s winning over gamers around the world, a composer has decided to remaster the game’s main music in styles we never thought we’d see associated with this universe.
The OST of Elden Ring in metal, reggae or techno
It is Alex Moukala, an Italian producer and composer, who is behind this unique idea! Thanks to his reaction videos to various OSTs (Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, Final Fantasy, Persona 5, etc.), the professional has become a real star of the platform, and therefore a reference in the musical field. Very close to gaming cultureit was on the OST of Elden Ring that he recently set his sights, and had the idea of remastering it under 15 styles completely different.
The composer’s video begins gently with a tune of Spanish guitar, then moves on to disco, then Reggae, passing through hip-hop. There is something for every taste !
A monster success
The composer’s video quickly went around the web, driven by the hype of Elden Ring and the originality of the idea. Alex Moukala, seeing the extent of the buzz of his video, created a page Patreonso that the community can contribute for the future, may be able to find these adaptations on Spotify.
In the comments, Alex Moukala expressed his gratitude to all those who relayed the video and appreciated it, he specifies: “This one was 100% handmade and it doesn’t directly sample the original track, which is what I usually do on my funky covers due to time constraints.”.
So here we are on a project 100% made by the composer, which only uses the melody of the OST of FromSoftware’s latest game. A few minutes of each extract (each style) accounted for Alex Moukala working hours. The most popular styles will therefore surely be adapted in a long version, such as the “Darksynth”the “French House” or the extract trap x japanese.
