Saturday evening, many fans ofElden Ring were gathered at the Palais des Congrès in Paris to experience the world premiere of the concert Elden Ring Symphonic Adventure, which was a pure aural treat. On the other hand, there was not the shadow of a Erdtree apart from the videos accompanying the orchestra and which were used to retrace the progress of the game. The extension The Shadow of the World Tree is indeed waiting since its sober announcement last February and we will soon celebrate its second anniversary, but FromSoftware didn’t say anything about it. Yet, new clues suggest its release could be near.
Indeed, by consulting the page of DLC Game on SteamDBwe discover the mention of an unpublished file and unnamed which was updated last week, the first in almost 15 months. The chances of it being Shadow of the Erdtree are therefore largeespecially since we reported last month a controller leak Thrustmaster from a reseller, with serious visuals to support it, to appear at the launch of the extension in February 2024.
And as if that wasn’t enough, PureArts has announcement his very first collectable Elden Ring, scheduled for release… in February. It’s starting to make a lot of sense that it’s just a coincidence, right?
The question that now arises is to know on what occasion Bandai Namco And FromSoftware will reveal the first (or even only) trailer and the release date of The Shadow of the World Tree. Simple broadcast in the middle of the day as if nothing had happened or during an event as possible PlayStation State of Play next month ? Everything is possible, then wait & see.
