Elden Ring is surely one of the games, if not THE game, that will have marked the year 2022. Since its release a little over a month ago, players around the world have outdone themselves in order to find new ways to play. Between speedruns, totally crazy mods and others, there’s never a dull moment in the Underworld!
But if we took a bit of the fabulous world of Elden Ring, and put it into Tekken 7. What would that look like? A fusion of two totally opposite universes, to which Ultraboy gave life.
Tekken x Elden Ring
ultraboy, a Tekken modder, has created the unthinkable. Characters from the Underworld, now available thanks to a mod, confront each other in the style of Tekken 7. The result is… captivating!
As Ultraboy clarified in one of these tweets, creating this mod took him many hours of hard work. All this in order to ensure that each character has attacks that correspond to those practiced in the FromSoftware game as well as their global identity. And characters, there are several.
Who’s on the appointment?
The mod offers players the opportunity to play 8 characters straight out of the hostile Entre-terre.
- Melina, the young hooded guide. Although she doesn’t appear threatening in Elden Ring, she is in Tekken 7 and seems to be a master of martial arts.
- Malenia, Miquella’s sword. Surely the ultimate optional boss of the game, who also in the Tekken 7 mod will slice you with his swords.
- A giant lobsterwhich can be seen in the beginning of the game and which Ultraboy surely appreciated.
- Alexander, the living pot. Very friendly in Elden Ring, he will ask you for help in different areas of the map. In Tekken 7, the character knows a radical change and seems ready to fight!
- A prisonerwhich it is possible to cross a few times in the Underworld, and which one should be wary of…
- General Radahn, the scourge of the stars. The demigod totally deserves his place in this Tekken 7 mod because he is overpowered. Admittedly, he is not accompanied by his horse, but he does not seem to have lost his touch.
- Raging Wolf Armor. Yes, you read correctly. This is not a character but a set of armor that joins the fight. Why not ?
- Ranni the witch, a character just as important as Melina in the game’s narrative. It is now possible to face her in Tekken 7, at your own risk. Bonus, it comes with Torrentthe spectral stirrup.
