Electric Love Festival – “We just take the jamming chaos with humor”

Hundreds of vehicles blocked the access road to the campsite on Sunday morning. But the festival visitors didn’t let that deter them and enjoyed the last few hours at the festival site with cool drinks.

The Electric Love anniversary ended on Sunday night, but the party continued on Sunday morning on the access roads in front of the campsite. Hundreds of cars were stuck in traffic in the blazing sun. The congested one-way street between the fields made it difficult for festival-goers to leave. “Now we’re going to keep partying in the car,” says Lorin (21), who still had an eight-hour trip to Switzerland ahead of him with his friends. A few vehicles away, some were clearing out their trunks, placing their camping chairs in the shade, turning up the music and enjoying a refreshing beer from the cool box they had brought with them. Locals looking for intact tents Although there were also annoyed parents who had to endure the heat, The “Electric Lovers” in particular took the situation with humour, turned on the car radio and listened to the DJs they had seen live at the festival in the days before. “Then we’ll just walk to the bus if it doesn’t come,” said a festival visitor who marched with bag and baggage in the direction of the main street. Because in addition to the parents, the bus drivers who were supposed to take the campers from the site were also stuck in traffic. “As soon as the campers have left, many locals come to the cleared campsite every year in search of intact tents or camping chairs. Because there’s a lot left behind,” explains a man from Salzburg.
