Electronic Arts: an update on the release schedule for the fiscal year, 4 mystery games for early 2023

Electronic Arts just published its results for the last quarter of fiscal year 2022, running from January to March this year. The publisher posted net revenues of 1.825 billion dollars, 35% more than in the same year last year. Over the entire fiscal year, he garnered 7.515 billion dollars, an increase of 21% compared to 2021, allowing it to achieve a “record year”.

EA now hopes that fiscal year 2023 will be “a year of innovation and growth”. For this, he is counting on a schedule of games on which he has just taken stock, raising some questions. We certainly find F1 22scheduled for July 1, FIFA 23 and Madden NFL 23 to come before the end of September, NHL 23 and always the next Need for Speed before the end of December, and the next PGA Tour early 2023, plus Apex Legends Mobile and The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth at unknown times.

4 More Mysterious Titles That Haven’t Been “Publicly Revealed” Yet are also to come in the first quarter of next year, i.e. between January and March. This is’a “remake”, a title from a “major license”, a “partner” game and a “sports game”. For the remake, hard to think of anything other than dead space, which the developers also hope to release at this time, but since it has already been formalized, could it be something else? The same goes for the “major license”: there is a good chance that it will be the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (available at €24.99 on Amazon.co.uk), already confirmed but not yet presented.

For the other 2, all assumptions are allowed. With which external studio EA will he team up for a new project? Is it a title in the caliber of EA Originals ? And is he about to take on a new sport with a big-budget simulation game? Or with a one-time arcade experience? Case to follow! Knowing that there will be noEA Play Live in 2022, however difficult to know when the secrets will be lifted.
