Actress Elena Uhlig and her partner Fritz Karl want to get married after 17 years of dating. He asked for her hand in marriage so romantically.
Everyone was surprised by these wedding plans: Actress Elena Uhlig (48) and her long-time partner Fritz Karl (55) want to get married before Christmas. On a skiing vacation, the actor asked the question of all questions.
“I didn’t expect to get married again in my life,” Uhlig reveals in an interview with the magazine “Bunte”. Wedding was never an issue. The 48-year-old and the Austrian Fritz Karl have been a couple for 17 years and have two sons and two daughters. “When you have four children together, you are a unit anyway,” says Uhlig.
The application was submitted in February. The couple and their four children went skiing in the mountains over the weekend. After dinner in the hotel restaurant, Karl asked everyone to stay seated because he had something to say. “I immediately panicked,” remembers Uhlig. Her partner then dug a ring box out of his trouser pocket, placed it in the middle of the table and said: “You’ve been my wife for a long time, but do you want to marry me too?”
“I was shaking all over”
“It was so beautiful, I can’t even put it into words. I immediately cried and my whole body was shaking. I would never have thought of that,” says the actress, summing up this special moment. Witnessing their children – “there is no nicer idea,” the actress continued. “I could easily start crying again, I’m so moved by it.”
The 48-year-old already celebrated her bachelorette party at Oktoberfest. There were 27 good friends there, including model and influencer Monica Meier-Ivancan (46).
