(Boursier.com) — The group Elis announced that it had signed a new private placement of Bonds in the United States (USPP format) for an amount of 200 million dollars with a group of American investors led by MetLife Investment Management.

The new bonds issued have a maturity of 12 years (July 2035) and offer investors a coupon of 6.03% in dollars. These were fully converted into euros for a total amount of 183 million euros by Elis, which will pay a final coupon in euros of 5.21%.

The funds raised by this financing will be entirely devoted to the refinancing of the group’s existing debt, in particular the refinancing of the bond issue of 500 million euros maturing in April 2024. This is the third USPP type financing to which Elis has resorted.
