Elisabeth Borne aggregates more and more dissatisfaction


According to an Ifop poll published by “Le Journal du dimanche”, the popularity ratings of Emmanuel Macron and Elisabeth Borne are stable.

HASfter her use of a tenth of 49.3, Elisabeth Borne is uniting more and more dissatisfied people, according to Ifop’s monthly December barometer published by The Sunday newspaper. The popularity rating of the Prime Minister is stable with 36% of people satisfied, but unites the dissatisfied more (59%, + 4 points). She remains at her lowest level of popularity since her arrival at Matignon in May. The head of government notably generates more dissatisfaction among 50-64 year olds (+ 7 points) and 65 and over (+ 4 points).

The rating of the Head of State is also almost stable compared to last month with 36% satisfied against 62% dissatisfied. However, Emmanuel Macron has lost 5 popularity points since his election in April. However, it is gaining popularity among people voting Les Républicains (+ 14 points) and supporters of La France insoumise (+ 5 points).

This survey was conducted among a sample of 1,956 people representative of the French population aged 18 and over, using the quota method, with a margin of error of between 1 and 2.3 points.
