Ellen DeGeneres has temporarily moved in with Courteney Cox. But she wouldn’t call her an exemplary roommate.
Courteney Cox (56) has a new roommate: Ellen DeGeneres (63). In her latest broadcast, the presenter announcedthat she has temporarily moved in with the “Friends” actress. In order to forestall any rumors, she stated directly that she had no argument with her wife Portia de Rossi (48): “I have no marital problems. I do not live with Courteney Cox because I was thrown out of my house.” Instead, the nights are likely to be related to the sale of their Beverly Hills home.
The two didn’t really live together either, as it turns out during the conversation – so Cox wasn’t even there. But she went to great lengths to prepare the house for her star guest: “I had it cleaned. I removed everything from the right side of the bathroom so that you had space in the drawers,” said Cox.
But that was probably not enough for DeGeneres. Cox sent her assistant over to see if everything was okay. “And suddenly it was like this: Just a moment. Ellen’s toothbrush is on my side!” The drawer with her make-up was suddenly cleared. “So basically you’re a terrible roommate. You took over mine and your side.” DeGeneres, however, blames her wife for that: “That was Portia, who took over your side. I only had one side. She was also there for one night …” That should have settled the rumors about marital problems.
