Ellen DeGeneres celebrates her 66th birthday and receives a touching declaration of love from wife Portia de Rossi on Instagram.
Ellen DeGeneres celebrated her 66th birthday on January 26th. On the occasion of her special day, her wife Portia de Rossi, 50, dedicated a sweet declaration of love on Instagram. In a video that shows the US talk show legend in top shape during a session in the gym, the Australian wrote that her “dear wife” always “amazes” and “inspires” her.
She continues to rave about the presenter: “Happy birthday to the strongest, sweetest and most brilliant person I know. I’m so happy to stand next to you as we share this incredible life together. I love you.”
Kris Jenner celebrates her “best friend”
DeGeneres commented on the loving post with several red heart emojis. Some congratulatory posts also came from Kris Jenner, 68, who joined the two the renewal of their wedding vows about a year ago had trusted. “Happy birthday to my best friend,” she wrote in an Instagram Story that shows her hand in hand with DeGeneres. She has been a good friend of the presenter and her wife for years.
DeGeneres and de Rossi tied the knot in August 2008. In 2010, the actress officially changed her name to Portia Lee James DeGeneres.
