Elon Musk explains why he supports Dogecoin



Investing.com – Tesla (NASDAQ 🙂 CEO Elon Musk intervened in a Twitter (NYSE 🙂 debate between former Twitter CEO and advocate, Jack Dorsey, and supporters to explain why he is in favor of.

Musk responded to a discussion around whether Ethereum and Web3 are really centralized with a single point of failure. Ethereum proponents then pointed to Jack Dorsey for his recent comments claiming that Web3 is a centralized entity under the control of Silicon Valley VCs and that Ethereum is not a secure, decentralized network like Bitcoin.

“I am not anti ETH. I am against centralized, venture capitalist, single point of failure, and corporate controlled lies. “It’s not ethereum. Don’t believe or trust me! Just look at the fundamentals,” Dorsey reiterated.

Billy Markus, co-creator of Doge, joined the discussion saying his goal is to “build things”, make money and have fun.

“I’m used to the corporate establishment and don’t really see how to significantly break away from it ~ bitcoin only empowers the new rich,” said Markus. At that point, Elon Musk, joined the debate, saying, “That’s why I’m pro Doge.”
