Elton John cancels his concerts at the last moment: disappointed he explains

The British singer Elton John did not give frankly reassuring news about his state of health. At 74, the artist has once again canceled two concerts, as announced this Tuesday, January 25, 2022. The interpreter of cold heart, had already had a very bad fall last September, which had forced him to postpone his tour, 2 years after being deprived of the stage. “I suffer from considerable pain and discomfort,” he confided at the time of the events.

For this time, the news first came from the DailyMail who reported a message from the team of the singer married to David Furnish : “It is with great regret that the Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour dates in Dallas scheduled for Tuesday, January 25 and Wednesday, January 26 have to be rescheduled due to Elton’s recent COVID-19 test.”

Then, it was the singer and godfather of Brooklyn Beckham who came to reassure his audience through a message on social networks. He assured that fans would soon be notified of a new date on which they can come and admire their idol and then gave some details on his condition: “It’s always a huge disappointment to have to reschedule a date and I’m so sorry to anyone who has a problem with this but I want to keep my team and myself safe (…) Luckily I’m fully vaccinated and I got a callback, and my symptoms are mild so I’m confident I’ll be able to do my show on Saturday in North Little Rock, Arkansas”.

Elton John had suffered pneumonia in 2020 during a concert in New Zealand where he was forced to leave the stage escorted by doctors. The British song legend has planned to return to France in June 2022 for two concerts at Paris La Défense Arena.
