Elvis Presley: worn trousers of the rock'n'roll king is looking for a new owner

If you want to own a pair of worn Elvis Presley trousers, you now have the chance. The starting bid is the equivalent of 250 euros.

A special opportunity awaits fans of Elvis Presley (1935-1977, "Love Me Tender"). The US auction house Lelands is selling trousers from the private collection of the late King of Rock'n'Roll. The blue trousers are not really noticeable without a well-known manufacturer's brand. What is unique, however, is that it has a stamp on the inside showing the name "E. Presley".

The description of the rarity states that the trousers come with a typed and signed letter from Vernon Presley (1916-1979), the musician's father. It reads: "I, Vernon Presley, donate this pair of blue pants that belonged to and were worn by my son Elvis Presley. Not exactly 'Blue Suede Shoes', but a classic nonetheless." Vernon Presley allegedly donated the garment to the Salvation Army after his son died. The starting bid is 300 US dollars (around 250 euros), the auction ends in mid-December.
