Embracer Group reports studio change for AAA, Star Wars KOTOR Remake in sight?

Embrace Group has recently distinguished itself with its major takeovers, starting with that of Middle-earth Enterprises this week, and by extension, that of the rights to the adaptations of the license The Lord of the Rings. Quite a catch that allows the publisher to ramp up even more with ever more projects in the pipeline, many of which do not give any news. As Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remakewhose development had obviously been put on hold.

The remake changes hands?

Following the takeovers made this week, Embracer Group has provided an update on some of its plans. We are interested here in A declaration especially, which concerns an AAA which is not named :

One of the band’s AAA projects moved to another studio within the band. This was done to ensure that the quality score meets the title. »

If we relate this to the information given by Bloomberg a few weeks ago, everything suggests that it is good to Star Wars KOTOR what it is. It is not impossible that the project passes into the hands of Saber Interactive, which had arrived as reinforcements to support Aspyr Media, whose task seemed to be far too high for a studio like this.

Embracer declares that the AAA in question (which could very well be another title) will not suffer a postponement however with this change of studio. A statement that is naturally impossible to believe, and which is above all there to reassure investors. Changing studio is not a trivial maneuver, and it necessarily adds months, even years of work.

If it is good to Star Wars KOTOR Remakedon’t expect to see it this year, and even 2023 seems to be in jeopardy at this point.
