Emergency doctor on duty – two seriously injured after an accident in Knittelfeld

No breather for the Knittelfeld fire brigade. After 400 storms in the past few days, the Floriani had to move out to a serious traffic accident on Tuesday evening.

At around 9:20 p.m., a car driver collided with several people in a crossroads in the city of Knittelfeld, with two of the people suffering injuries that required emergency medical treatment, says chief fire inspector Arnold Schlick from the fire brigade. While the Red Cross and an emergency doctor were taking care of an adult and a child, the 18 firefighters deployed doubled the fire protection and secured the scene of the accident. In addition, a privacy screen was erected. After the two injured were treated and the scene of the accident was released by the Knittelfeld police, the scene of the accident was cleaned and the vehicle removed.
