For the past week, British justice has been looking into responsibility for the plane crash that claimed the life of Argentine footballer Emiliano Sala in 2019. According to doctors, Emiliano Sala was unconscious at the time of the crash.

In 2019, the 28-year-old Argentinian, who played at FC Nantes, took a private plane to Cardiff where he had just been transferred for 17 million euros. If the Argentinian did die from serious head and chest injuries suffered during the crash, he was no longer conscious when the plane crashed into the sea. According to the investigation carried out by Dr Basil Purdue, medical pathologist, Emiliano Sala was exposed to high doses of carbon monoxidewhich would have made him lose consciousness, as reported by RMC. Toxicological analyzes confirmed that Emiliano Sala’s blood saturation level was 58%, indicating a case “serious poisoning”. This poisoning could have been caused by the aircraft’s exhaust system.
The organizer of the fatal robbery sentenced to 18 months in prison
Last November, David Henderson, the organizer of the robbery, had been found guilty of recklessness or negligence “likely to have endangered a device”. According to the prosecution, it was David Henderson who was initially to pilot the aircraft, but, on vacation in Paris with his wife, he had entrusted this flight to David Ibbotson. But the latter did not have no commercial pilot licensewas not not fit to fly at night and had no more qualification for this type of device. David Henderson was sentenced to 18 months in prison.
