Despite some interesting outfits, only Emily Blunt (40) managed to stand out at this year’s BAFTA Tea Party in Beverly Hills. When Blunt hit the red carpet on Saturday evening (“Daily Mail” reported), you had to look twice: was her midi dress woven from bamboo leaves? In terms of design, the extraordinary piece in the color Seafoam Green conveyed this impression.
With this jungle-inspired dress, she managed to balance Hollywood elegance and natural flair. The inconspicuous A-line harmonizes perfectly with the unusual mesh structure and the trendy floral elements. She combines it with open, nude-colored heels with straps. Her silver earrings are the only more eye-catching accessory in the look and give her appearance a spark of elegance. She wears a few simple gold rings on her fingers.
Make-up and hair are subtle
The 40 year old posed in a storm of flashes next to her “Oppenheimer” colleague Cillian Murphy (47), who appeared rather inconspicuous dressed all in black. Blunt wore her hair open with a middle part and slight waves. She also kept her make-up natural – with a little blush on her cheeks, shiny rosy lips and a slightly shimmering eyeshadow that went well with her earrings. And of course the most important thing that shouldn’t be missing on the red carpet: a happy smile.
