Parisians are not very fans of Emily in Paris and even less fans of the series, according to the numerous graffiti visible in the capital. While filming for the fourth season has just begun, the Anglo-Saxon media – such as DailyMail – are once again interested in the tags scribbled in the 5th arrondissement, the main setting of the plot.

These signs of protest mainly target tourists who invade the neighborhoods of the series in large numbers, to the great dismay of city dwellers. The consequences for traders
This is the case of the Boulangerie Moderne, still located in the 5th arrondissement, which appears in the first season when the heroine comes to eat a pain au chocolat. Following this appearance, the business received numerous visits but also many negative comments on the Web, pointing out the quality of the pastries.
Faced with the scale of this wave of criticism, the owners’ daughter used social networks to send a message, as reported by BFM TV : “My father is deeply saddened by the situation. Finally, you don’t realize when someone criticizes his work, it touches him in his heart, it’s visceral.
