US star serves at take-away opening in Detroit
US rapper Eminem served the first customers of his newly opened take-away restaurant.

US rapper Eminem personally served the first customers of his newly opened take-away restaurant in Detroit through the window.
The first customers were amazed when they were served personally by none other than US rapper Eminem (48) through the window of his newly opened take-away restaurant “Mom’s Spaghetti” in Detroit.
There are three dishes on offer: Mom’s Spaghetti ($ 9), Mom’s Spaghetti with Meatballs ($ 12), and a S’ghetti Sandwich ($ 11), plus water and lemonade. Vegan meatballs are also available for a small surcharge.
The window opened on Wednesday at 5 p.m. local time. It is located in the newly opened Union Assembly restaurant on 2131 Woodward Avenue next to the Fox Theater.

Brendan Linden, a Bronx native, was one of the first in line, which stretched several blocks along Woodward Avenue. To his great surprise, Eminem showed up before the doors opened and handed spaghetti to the first ten people. “I came here hoping to meet him. I didn’t think he would be here,” he said to the “MLive” portal. “He shook my hand and I told him what he meant for my life and how much his music had influenced me. He thanked me and gave me something to eat.”
Joel and Erin Farrer from Allen Park and Detroit also met the rapper and say it was one of the coolest moments of their lives. “They told us they wanted ten people. So we went around the corner and Eminem was handing out spaghetti,” said Erin Farrer with a big grin on his face. “When I walked up to him I was crying and he said, ‘It’s all right, it’s just spaghetti’. I told him I’d waited my whole life to meet you and he hugged me and my spaghetti Container signed. “
