EMIRATES WILL RECEIVE ITS FIRST AIRBUS A350 IN AUGUST 2024
DUBAI (Reuters) – Delivery to Emirates Airline of its first Airbus A350 will take place in August 2024, a year later than expected, the Dubai-based airline’s chief operating officer said on Wednesday, quoted by an Emirati daily.
An Emirates representative has confirmed that the quotes posted by Emarat Al Youm are accurate.
Airbus did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
When announcing the order in late 2019, the airline said it was due to receive its first A350 aircraft in May 2023.
Earlier today, Emirates COO Al Redha told the press that deliveries of 787 Dreamliner aircraft ordered from Boeing were delayed until 2024.
