Emissions turnaround – EU Commission buries the ban on combustion!

“The plans for the new Euro 7 standard for cars show that the EU Commission has accepted the limits of what is technically feasible and has said goodbye to unattainable goals,” comments the President of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), Hildegard Müller, on the current one Recommendation for the planned tightening of the exhaust gas regulations. That is a good sign for the citizens of Europe and also for environmental protection. “We now also have to promote the supply of e-fuels, synthetic fuels from renewable energy sources,” demanded Müller. “Because it is not the engine that is a problem for the climate, but the fossil fuel.”
