A First Lady on the board and a visiting President. Traveling to Clichy-sous-Bois on Wednesday, Emmanuel Macron went to the campus of the Institute of Vocations for Employment, the school for “dropouts”, carried by his wife. Brigitte Macron regularly intervenes in this establishment, of which she chairs the educational committee. She also gave a masterclass on Wednesday on the different literary genres. The Head of State came to visit the campus for the first time at the end of his wife’s course. He sent a message of encouragement and support to the students, called the Livers.
Live, created with the help of the LVMH group, is aimed at young adults aged 25 to 30 who have no training, diploma or job. The first in Clichy-sous-Bois opened at the end of 2019. Live de la Drôme, in Valence, followed in March 2021, then a third in Roubaix opened last September.
The First Lady regularly gives masterclasses in the three establishments. Each is broadcast live to the other campuses.
