“Mobilization” of the nation
“This is also why companies are happy to recruit former soldiers who leave the uniform,” added the head of state, who had already insisted in early November on the “mobilization” of the nation, which would pass also by the generalization of the Universal National Service.
“This is also why I know I can count on the military and on former soldiers to face the challenges of strengthening the moral forces of the nation, in particular of the youth (…). This moral force is undoubtedly the most important of all”, underlined the Head of State.
“Strengthening the spirit of resilience” of the company
“In this regard, I will have the opportunity to speak about our major universal national service project at the beginning of next year,” he said. In November, during the last national review of France’s strategic challenges and objectives (RNS) from the amphibious helicopter carrier Diksmuide, Emmanuel Macron said that it was “not a question of militarizing society but of strengthening the spirit of resilience, its moral force (..) for the defense of our sovereignty”.
