(CercleFinance.com) – Enertime announces its participation in the EPHYRA project, which will officially start on June 1, a project funded under the European Union’s Horizon Europe program and which will receive a grant of around 17.76 million euros on five years.
EPHYRA aims to demonstrate the integration of an industrial-scale renewable hydrogen production facility using improved electrolysis technology for an output of 30 MW, which will be integrated into a refinery in Corinth, Greece.
In this context, Enertime will provide an innovative ORC system recovering waste heat at low temperature to supply 1 MW of carbon-free electricity to an electrolysis system and will receive a subsidy of two million euros for this system.
