Eni: agreement for more sustainability in equestrian sports

(CercleFinance.com) – Eni, the Italian Equestrian Sports Federation (FISE) and Scuderia 1918 have signed an agreement to develop joint initiatives to advance the energy transition in equestrian activities.

This collaboration aims to promote greater sustainability and the decarbonization of equestrian clubs and large national stables, with a strategic vision based on solid initiatives consistent with the principles of the equestrian disciplines.

In its vision, the agreement promotes ecological and ethological principles aimed at improving the well-being of horses and developing sustainable projects that improve the intimate relationship between humans and animals at the heart of horse riding.

Innovation within the partnership will be stimulated by the research, study and development of new technologies, which aim to improve the sporting and competitive qualities of athletes, horses and riders, in order to create high-level riding.

Maurizio Maugeri, B2B Sustainable Energy Development Manager at Eni, said: ‘Many solutions are being evaluated and, thanks to this agreement, they can be studied and developed with the aim of making this sector even more in tune with its environment. ‘
