Eni: the price of the IPO of Var Energi at the bottom of the range

(CercleFinance.com) – Var Energi, a subsidiary of Eni, announced on Monday that it had set the price of its IPO at 28 Norwegian kroner per share, that is to say at the bottom of the range previously disclosed.

In a brief press release published in the morning, the company specializing in the exploration and production of oil and gas on the Norwegian continental shelf indicates that the operation is already several times oversubscribed at the price retained, over-allotment option included.

Var Energi had announced ten days ago its intention to list on the Oslo Stock Exchange at a price of between 28 and 31.5 Norwegian kroner.

On this basis, its market capitalization was to be between 70 and 79 billion crowns (between seven and 7.9 billion euros).

The offer is due to close tomorrow, with a view to initial negotiations on Wednesday.
